The Fight is on for Our Town's Future

We believe that the Labour Controlled Council are, and have been fully aware and content with decisions which have resulted in the running down of our proud Borough Towns. Ashton-under-Lyne perhaps being the exception, and that is debatable.

Stalybridge Town Party's Candidates are asking you to come out and vote for us with the common aim of putting pride back into our town. We feel the proud people of Stalybridge are sending a clear message, and that message is calling for change.

Once again you will be seeing lots of activity in your area. Your M.P. and Councillors coming along to your homes/streets making promises but the promises made last year have not been fulfilled. What about the £600.000 for children's playgrounds? Ask them where that money went. It certainly didn't go to Stalybridge. You will see Tameside workforce repairing potholes, carrying out other roadworks, litter/fly tipping being removed etc.

We will be watching over their shoulders as we have for the last 12 months until we get our fair share for Stalybridge whilst constantly reminding them what they have taken from our town.

We will always talk with other parties but need to send this clear and unequivocal message - Until we get fair treatment for our Town, villages and surrounding communities. For our shops, businesses and people, we will never give up the fight for justice and the fair funding for our Town - Stalybridge.
