Community & Community Groups

Stalybridge has a well established network of community groups that have some amazing initiatives in our town and neighbourhoods - all aimed at improving the lives of all of the people in our town. All of these groups are independent of any Political Party.

Stalybridge Town Party believes that these groups should be heard by all political parties and we would encourage everyone to get involved with, and support groups in their area.

We firmly believe in meeting residents whether it is on a litter pick or at their request, and where possible, visiting and helping local community groups. It is direct contact with residents that gives us an opportunity to understand their concerns and hopes. This is a fundamental part of trying to achieve positive change.

We want our services back in Stalybridge and will never give up our fight until we get local access to decent council, transport and health facilities.

We will fight against inequity.
