Alone we don't have much of a voice. Together however we are so much stronger ... To anyone who says 'but I am only one voice I say, stand with me, then we are two, and in time we are more." If those who represent you are not doing what you want then it's time to replace them with those who show they have the communities best interests at heart ... irrespective of party colours.

In 2014
27,454 people could have voted
8,585 chose to vote
What would have happened if the other 18,869 people voted? In 2015
27,269 people choose to vote in the general election
15,492 decided to vote.
What would have happened if the other 11,777 people voted?
In 2016
26, 283 people could vote.
7976 took 5 minutes to vote
What could have changed if the other 18,307 people had spent a few minutes voting.
If we add all that together, in the last 3 elections
81,006 people could have voted.
32,053 people did vote
48,953 people decided not to vote for the current 9 representatives of Stalybridge, and a bit of Dukinfield, on Tameside MBC.
The roads, the car parks, the schools, the parks, the public areas, the litter, the lighting, the area we live in, the new housing, the trees cut down etc etc etc ... were all based on decisions influenced by 9 people who most of us did not value enough to even vote for. If you are one of the 32,053 people who did vote in the last 1, 2 or 3 elections. Thank you, please continue to support democracy. If you are one of the 48,953 who did not vote (and I did not vote in 2 of them as I did not see the point) then please vote for Stalybridge Town party, vote for a change.
We are not politicians, we do not have any political leanings, political whips, party lines or colours to represent. We only promise 1 thing, to represent the people of Stalybridge, and a little bit of Dukinfield.
